Catherine Holliday

Catherine Holliday passed away peacefully on March 25, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 5, 1927, in Knightstown, Indiana, to William and Mary Linch and moved to Las Cruces in 1968. Kate, as she was known to her family and friends, worked in the judicial system for many years and retired in 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vernis, and two sons, Barry and Bruce. Survivors include her son, Ted, and his wife, Mary, and a granddaughter, Heather Thomas and her husband, Ted and their two daughters, Chelsea and Rylie, her brother, Judgement Linch and his wife, Betty, a niece and nephew and step grand children and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mesilla Valley Hospice. At her request, cremation has taken place and all her friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Weds. 1:00 pm at the Elks Lodge. PDF Printable Version
