Carl C. Lindemann, 32, passed away Monday, July 21st, 2014 at home after a long battle with diabetes. He was born July 7th, 1982 in Albuquerque, NM and spent most of his life in Las Cruces, NM. He graduated from Las Cruces High School in 2001 and attended NMSU. After taking a break from his studies he enrolled at Collins College in Phoenix, AZ where he pursued a degree in video game design. Carl was an avid musician. He played the trombone all four years of his high school career in the Las Cruces High Marching Band and continued playing during his time at NMSU with the NMSU Pride Band. He also was a long time member of the University United Methodist Church Handbell Choirs and traveled with them to several conferences and competitions. Carl was a truly creative individual. In his spare time he enjoyed drawing, writing short stories, creating new fantasy games, and the outdoors. The size of his imagination was only matched by the size of his heart. Carl always managed to leave a lasting impression on everyone that he met. Carl is survived by his loving parents, William & Clara Lindemann; his sister, Kate Lewis; and many other extended family members. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at 10 am at University United Methodist Church, 2000 S. Locust St, Las Cruces, NM. Arrangements are being handled by Getz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to the University United Methodist Church Handbell Choirs. PDF Printable Version
