Carl Brian Easton, 58, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Ruidoso, NM. Carl was born January 24, 1956 in Cumberland, Maryland to Lewis and Donna Easton. He married Martha Easton on September 16, 2000. Carl was employed the United States Postal Service as a night shift mail handler for 30 years, where he received an award for having zero sick calls. He was an avid hot wheels collector, traveling to different places, he loved his Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, could watch hours of college basketball. He always talked about buying another corvette someday, loved buying cook books because he loved to cook on his days off. Brian also liked to hit a few at the golf course when it came down to competition. Las Vegas Super Bowl Sundays and roulette was his new thing with his work buddies. He was a true friend when you needed a hand. He was a dedicated true Mail handler on the night shift since 1984. He will and is already being missed by all who knew him in Las Cruces and El Paso USPS. He is survived by his wife Martha of the family home, son, Bryce Easton, parents Lewis and Donna Easton; brother's Jeff & Gary Easton, Close friends, Super Dave, Robert Verdoza, Jude Tachias, and David Mullins, also surviving him are his loving dogs, Timmy, Tiploe and Twang. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 5-7pm in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel. PDF Printable Version
