Brissa Anahi Loya-Gutierrez

Brissa Anahi Loya-Gutierrez, age 10 years of Las Cruces, NM went to be an angel on Sunday April 10, 2005 at UNM Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. Brissa was born June 12, 1994 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico to Daniel and Maria del Socorro Loya. She had lived in Las Cruces for about the last two and a half years and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She attended Tombaugh Elementary School. Brissa loved school, especially her math class. She enjoyed everyone's company and loved everyone she knew. She was also involved in the Matachines. Brissa is survived by her father and mother, Daniel Loya and Maria del Socorro Gutierrez; one brother Eduardo; three sisters, Daniela, Daisy, and America Samantha. Her maternal grandparents, Francisco G. Gonzalez and Beatrice Ayala de Gomez, and her paternal grandmother Bertha Gonzalez. Her paternal grandfather Javier Loya preceded her in death in 1986. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 AM on Friday, April 15, 2005 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1327 N. Miranda with Fr. Martin Cordero officiating.
