Bonnie Jean Ladson

Bonnie Jean Hollingsworth Ladson age 80 of Anthony, NM went to be with her lord Sunday September 18, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. Bonnie was born in Union, Mississippi, January 10, 1925 to Benjamin Franklin and Mae Ella Patrick Hollingsworth. Bonnie was the eldest girl of seven children. Bonnie was married twice and produced four children, Shirley McCune Noori, Jorge McCune, Kattie McCune Errisson and Jacqueline Ladson Boyer. After her divorce for the second time, Bonnie went back to school to become a nurse, to support herself and her children. Bonnie's intelligence, strength and determination were of great help to her in life as she raised her children and worked in the church she loved. Bonnie had a big heart she would help anyone whether she knew them or not. She was an extraordinary woman, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother daughter and friend. Her family will love and miss her forever. Bonnie is survived by her four children Shirley McCune Regusters of Woodland Hills, CA; Jorge McCune of West Hills, CA, Kattie McCune Errisson of Sherman Oaks, California and Jacqueline Ladson Boyer of El Paso, TX. Four sisters, Mrs. Queenie McCMillian, Mrs. Ruth Boyer Shivers, Mrs. Emma Jane Fitch, and Mrs. Luva Lee Bolts. Her six grandchildren, Sheri and Gwen Lastrom, Danny Regusters, Mary Regusters, Shannon Alonzo Oats, and Maisha Shepherd. Her six great grandchildren Troy Oats, Joyce Oats, Alonzo Oats, Kayla Oats D'andre Shepherd, and Italia Regusters. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Mae Ella Hollingsworth, her oldest brother Willie Mark Hollingsworth, and her youngest brother Benjamin Franklin Hollingsworth. They are all together again. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday September 23, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home. A graveside Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at the Anthony Cemetery in Anthony, NM. Officiating will be Rev. Cleo Bell. We would like to acknowledge special friends of Bonnie, who would be, Rose, Lela Bee, Margie, Stella, Betty, Emma, and Rosetta Barnes, who were always there for her.
