Bobbiann Hays

October 29, 1938 — October 7, 2023

Bobbieann was born and raised in Temple, Texas and graduated Temple High School in 1956. She was preceded in death by her mother Annie Mae Potter, son Robert York, and nephew Charles Baird. Bobbieann is survived by sons Rusty York (Janet), Jim York (Jodie), and sisters Patti Keimele (John), Lois Smith (Paul), Mary Price (Joe), six grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren with one on the way.


Bobbieann moved away from Texas to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1966. Over the years she was a wonderful housewife and loving mom raising three boys. In 1985, Bobbieann opened a dress shop in the Albuquerque area and eventually started a jewelry and women’s clothing store in Santa Fe, New Mexico called Scarlet Rose. She was a talented craft maker and had a wonderful eye for decorating. Bobbieann moved back to Temple in 2002 to be with family and worked for Dillard’s until she retired in 2010 and moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico to be closer to grandkids.


In 2021 Bobbieann moved into the Blue Horizon Memory Care Facility where she passed away peacefully on Saturday October 7, 2023 Cremation has taken place
