Beverly A. Ivins

Beverly Ann Ivins, 74, of Hatch NM , went home to be with the Lord Monday, Mar 2, 2009. She was born Nov 25, 1934, in Oakdale, NE., to Herbert and Vava Landis. Beverly was a retired school records keeper for the Alaska Public Schools. She moved to Hatch, NM in 1997 where she enjoyed cooking, painting, needlework, jewelry making and traveling with her husband Marvin. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Hatch, NM. She is survived by her loving husband Marvin of 48 years; three children, Terry Ann Loving and husband Kent of Snohomish, WA., and two grandsons, Adam Matthew James Ivins and wife Vivian of Lewiston, ID., and three grandchildren, Jason, Kayla, and Sierra Lynn; Renee Ann Sliger and husband Bob of Lewiston, ID., and two grandchildren, Rachel Lynn and Bethaney; also four great-grandchildren and six step-grandchildren; sister, Sherrie Gullion and husband Drew of Ceres, CA., and brother Jerry Landis and wife Jackie of Lafayette, IN. Memorial Services will be held at the First Baptist Church , 421 Franklin Street , Hatch , NM , on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David White officiating. A private family committal of cremains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Tierra Blanca Ranch (High Country Youth Program) in care of the First Baptist Church of Hatch, NM or the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital , PO Box 50 , Memphis , TN 38101 .
