Benjamin Montoya

Benjamin Isaac Montoya, 21, was called home on April 22, 2017. Benjamin was born October 21, 1995 in Las Cruces, NM to Joann Sambrano, and Freddy "Benjie" Montoya. He had three sisters: Amanda Soto, Vanessa Garcia, and Krystal N. Montoya. He also had one brother, Jaime Garcia. Benjamin attended Vista Middle School, and Mayfield High School, He had many friends that included his best friend Alex Cano. Benjamin worked and Walmart and Unos. Benjamin was a clown; he was always making people laugh. He also had a love for fishing, music, and cooking. He was always very helpful, and loving, no matter where life took him, he always had a smile on his face. Benjamin is survived by his parents, Joann Sambrano and Freddy "Benjie" Montoya, of Las Cruces, NM his sisters Amanda Soto, Vanessa Garcia, Krystal N. Montoya, his brother Jaime Garcia, all of Las Cruces, NM and paternal grandmother Concha Montoya, of Las Cruces, NM as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews. He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Sadie Sambrano, and paternal grandfather, Willie Montoya. Visitation for Benjamin will be held on Monday, May 8th 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe church in Tortugas, NM. Viewing will begin at 9:15am, followed by a rosary at 10:00Am, and a mass at 10:30am. There will also be an afterlife celebration immediately after the ceremony at Our Lady of Guadalupe parish hall. First Visitation
