Barney M. Graner, 89, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Monday, October 3, 2005. Barney was born January 3, 1916 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Michael and Katherine Graner. He graduated from Mandan High and went to North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo, ND. On November 3, 1937 he married Isabella Froelich. He was a former resident of Mandon, ND where for many years he owned Barney's Standard Service until he retired. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club, the Moose Club and was Director of the North Dakota Gasoline Association. He had, for the past 20 years resided in New Mexico and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He will be missed by all especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He leaves three children, daughters, Judy Graner Eckroth of Las Vegas, NV; Michelle and husband Richard Adams of Las Cruces, NM and son Allen M. Graner and wife Nancy of Ruby ND. Eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Isabella, son in law, Tim Echroth, two sisters, Virginia Graner, and Isabella Ressler and a brother, Raymond Graner. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 12:10 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1327 N. Miranda, Las Cruces, NM with Fr.
