Arturo C. Gomez

It is with heavy hearts and many tears that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be missed and forever loved. May he rest in eternal peace until we meet again.

 Arturo served four (4) years in the United States Marine Corp. National defense service and was awarded a bronze metal star, for rifle sharpshooter. He was very involved with the church. His greatest joy in life was his service dog, pearl. 

 Arturo was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Domitila Gomez, brother Guillermo (Willie), Ruben and Robert Gomez, sister Rosa.

 Arturo is survived by his sons Arturo “Tudy” (Amanda) Gomez, Gabriel Gomez from Las Cruces, NM. Brother Joe (Anna) Gomez, sisters, Jeannie Gomez, of Las Cruces, Mary from El Paso, TX. Grandchildren, Marissa, Andrea, Justine, Alyssa and Arturo Rey, Great granddaughter, Blair Gomez, Numerous nephews and nieces. 

 Memorial service is scheduled at 10:00 am on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
