Archie Lee Liggins

Archie Lee Liggins went home to Jesus on November 11, 2021 at the age of 85. Archie was born to Grady G. Liggins and Eula Norfleet on June 6, 1936. Even as a young adult Archie knew he wanted to help and serve his country and community. He followed his dreams by enlisting in the U.S. Army. Upon completion of his military service, he went on to serve as a Police Officer in the El Paso Police Department and continued to work for Government Contractors. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Irmgard Brigitte Liggins in 2008; Archie is survived by his children, Elena Liggins-Dobson and Laquetta R. Burchette . He will be missed by many other relatives and friends. Memorial service to be held at Getz Funeral Home on December 3rd 2021. Public visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with military honors beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by prayer vigil at 10:45 a.m. The procession to Mr. Liggins's final resting place at Fort Bliss Cemetery will commence immediately after services.
