Anthony James Williams

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony James Williams, who left us far too soon at the age of 23. Anthony was born on April 27, 2001, in White Salmon, Washington. Throughout his life, he called many places home, including Albuquerque, New Mexico; Joplin, Missouri; and Greenwood, Texas.

Anthony was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Dave and JoAnne Williams, whom he affectionately called Buddy and Mom. He is survived by his grandparents, his biological mother Amy Finkle, stepfather Clinton Finkle, his sisters Kierra and Charlotte Bartlett, and his beloved niece Layla Bartlett. He also leaves behind many family members and friends who he cherished deeply.

Anthony graduated from Gordon Bernell Charter School in 2021 and later pursued a career in plumbing. His greatest passion was music—of all genres—which he loved sharing with everyone. He also enjoyed gaming on his PC, spending time with his family, and making memories with his faithful puppy, Hades.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th, at 10:00 AM at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, New Mexico. A private viewing will take place on Friday, February 7th, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, followed by a time for friends to gather from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
