It is with great sorrow that the family of Alfredo Montoya Jr. 85, entered eternal rest on December 26, 2024.
“Fred” aka Buffalo was a lifelong truck driver and resident of Santa Fe until moving to Las Cruces to be with his daughter and family. Fred will be remembered for his funny jokes, and great stories of his time working with other truck drivers - to his hunting and fishing trips. Fred loved his old cars and telling stories on how he made that turn off Agua Fria, to his long hours as a driver and operator at Hall, Coffman, McRenolds Construction with many more. Fred “Buffalo” had hands of steel and a heart of gold, where Fred would do everything capable to ensure the care and love of his family came first.
