William H. Enoch

February 9, 1954 — April 6, 2013

William Howard Enoch (Bill) passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, April 6, 2013. Bill was born Feb. 9, 1954 in Roswell, NM. He was the son of Howard (Corky) and Billie Enoch. He graduated in 1972 from Goddard High School. He moved to Las Cruces, NM with his dad in 1972 to begin his plumbing apprenticeship. The whole family later moved to Las Cruces permanently in 1973. He married Ciri Ellen Santheson on Jan. 10, 1976 in Roswell, NM. They were happily married for over 37 years. They were blessed with two wonderful sons and a beautiful daughter. Bill was proud of his children and considered them his greatest achievement. He was a wonderful and very involved father as they were growing up. There wasn't much that Daddy couldn't or wouldn't do for them. Bill was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts in the mid 1990's with Troop 180. He went on many camping trips including several times to Camp Wehinahpay. His efforts paid off when his oldest son, Trevor, achieved Eagle Scout. In 1995 Bill and Ciri started Enoch Mechanical Inc. working many long and hard hours to make a go of the business. He semi-retired a couple years ago but still went to work to make coffee and talk politics to all who dropped by. He let his sons take the reins to carry on the business though he was still there for support or guidance. He was a member of Local Union 412, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and Picacho Gun Club. He loved tinkering on Model T's and A's and going to car swap meets. He was an avid gun collector and could be found at every gun show either buying or selling. Bill loved to visit and he touched many people and made many friends in his life. Bill is survived by his wife, Ciri; sons Trevor and wife Crystal, Travis and wife Rebecca, and daughter Tiffany Flora and husband Jeremy. He was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren that he dearly loved; Emma and Andy Enoch and Cody and Lily Flora. Also surviving Bill are his twin sisters, Jan Wesley and husband Jerry of Escondido, CA; and Jeannette Lenko and husband John of Bakersfield, CA. Last but in no way least, his Chihuahua dogs, Penny and Lucy which he took with him everywhere. Bill was loved by many and the world is an emptier place with his passing. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and Brother Joe Enoch. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Getz Funeral Home.
