Maureen Q Hallock, 80 passed away peacefully to eternal life 5:43pm , January 12, 2017. She was born in Manchester, England on October 1, 1936 to Alexander William Quinn and Alice Hayes Quinn. She was an only child, raised in Manchester, UK, attending St James School and was a member of Children Of Mary. While in school she worked at her parent's pub, The Grey Mare. They survived the blitz of Manchester during WWII. She and her mother moved to New York City in 1952. She married Michael John Hallock, Senior on February 7, 1959. She was a mother, and spouse of 54 years to a U.S. Army soldier, accompanying him across the Eastern Seaboard, Europe and New Mexico until their retirement from WSMR, NM in 1981. She became a naturalized US citizen in 1977 but she was British at heart and her cousins in England were a big part of her life, Anthony and Jean Hayes, Pat and Derrick Hall and Michael Hayes. She had a keen interest in traveling, the Arts and was an Artist herself. She was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire. She is survived by her children Michael John Hallock, II and Julie Ann, Brian James and Denine Susan, Kenneth Joseph and Freya, Paul Edward and Stephanie A. Kantzios; grandchildren Michael Jason and Haley Elizabeth Mitschke, Mackenzie Lynn and Raymond Moses Jaramillo Jr., Tawney Shea and Christopher Brooks, Stephanie Nicole and Jason Garcia, Michael John, III and Melanie Lynne, Kirstie Anna, Nicola Ann, Kenneth Joseph Hallock Jr.; great grandchildren are: Raymond Moses, III and Molli Ann Jaramillo, Sofia Alexandra and Scarlett Reece Mitschke. She loved and gave all she had to her children right up to her very last breath. She cared deeply and loved her children and grandchildren very much. Her proudest achievements are undoubtedly her four sons, Michael, Brian, Kenneth and Paul whom she cherished and loved unconditionally. She is preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Hallock, Senior, Alexander and Alice (her parents). Services will be held at Getz funeral home January 20, 2017 at 1:00pm. She will join her husband at the Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
