Mary Carolyn Seybert passed away December 27, 2007 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born November 15, 1925 to Frank Almasi and Mary Welker Almasi in White Pigeon, Michigan. Carolyn was valedictorian of her high school graduating class and excelled in elocution and poetry writing. As a young girl she had a paper route and delivered to the Seybert family farm where she met the love of her life, Fred Seybert. They were married January 7, 1946 when Fred returned from WWII. They spent the next three years in various locations while Fred finished his military service. Carolyn's early married years were spent in White Pigeon Michigan where she and Fred owned a trucking company. Carolyn was the bookkeeper. In 1962 the family moved to Deming. Carolyn worked as a secretary at 1st New Mexico Bank for many years and retired from Wells Fargo in 1990. Carolyn was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was a communicant and helped at the nursing home in that capacity for many years. In past years she was very involved in the Altar Society. Carolyn and Fred are the parents of 10 children, seven sons; Fred III and wife Julia, Jerry and wife Beckie, Scott and wife Janis, Jack and wife JoAlice, Steve and wife Jeovanna, James and wife Nancy, Timothy and wife Margaret, also three daughters; Mary Ann Timmons and husband Tim, Nancy Riley and husband Mike, and Jennifer Armstrong and husband Steve. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Carolyn's parents and two brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Fred, all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Richard Almasi and sister in law Mary Jane Almasi. Carolyn dedicated her life to her husband and children. She will be missed by all. Carolyn will be remembered as a kind, gentle and caring woman. She was truly a great and noble lady.
