Marco Antonio Cobos Jr.

Marco Antonio Cobos Jr., (Toito), 24 years old passed on November 21st, 2015 at Soledad Canyon. Marco was born October 2nd, 1991 in Guadalajara Mexico. He is survived by his father Marco Antonio Cobos, mother Maria Cobos, sister Sofia, brother Cesar, and many loving family members and friends across Mexico and the United States. Marco dreamed of helping children struggling as he did as a child and was pursuing a degree in Communication Disorders at New Mexico State University. Marco was an excellent soccer player and two time state champion with the Strikers FC. In addition to his big heart and dreams of helping others, Marco was talented in many ways. He spent hours practicing bass guitar and recently started learning the drums. Music allowed him to express himself and he was a very dedicated band member. His love for animals was more than evident as he often took his puppies Shade (Sombra) and Mini along on hikes. Marco was happiest when in the mountains exploring and challenging himself on climbs. He always thought of others before himself and helped them any way possible. He is loved and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. A prayer vigil followed by a funeral mass will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, November 27, 2015 at St. Albert the Great Newman Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. PDF Printable Version
