Dora Saenz

Dora Saenz, 83, of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 20th, 2018. Dora was born in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua. She was preceded in death by Florentino, her husband of 56 years; together they came to the US in 1962. Dora has made Las Cruces her home for the past 37 years. Dora was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her generosity, compassion and her wonderful home cooking. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Clara, Camerina, Maria and Victor, their spouses, Benny, Stephen and Cynthia, her grandchildren, Adam, Clarissa, Gabriel, Hector, Joshua, Samantha, Natalie, John, Cristian, and Sienna and her great grandson Azriel. She was love dearly and will be greatly missed Visitation for Dora will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday August 23rd, 2018 at Getz Funeral Home where a Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 24th, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine and Parish in Tortugas New Mexico. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. First Visitation
