On March 11, 2023, Jaime Lazos Moreno, age 33, entered eternal life. Jaime was born December 16, 1989, to Mari Lazos and Jaime Lazos.
Jaime was raised and grew up in Las Cruces, NM. He graduated from Onate High School in 2008. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working with his hands on various projects such as construction, automotive and enjoyed working with technology. Jaime enjoyed listening to his favorite music, writing poems and writting rap songs in his free time. Jaime dedicated himself to spending time with family and friends. He was always a lending hand and willing to help everyone selflessly.
Jaime Lazos Moreno was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by many lives he touched. Jaime, everyone you left in this world hates that you are gone but we are happy that you are home free and painless. We will always love and miss you until we can meet again.
Those left to carry his memory include his parents Mari and Jaime. His sisters Jennifer and Erika. His paternal grandmother Carmen Parra and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many caring friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jesus Manuel Moreno. His paternal grandfather Edward L. Parra. His maternal grandmother Maria Gonzales Soria. His maternal grandfather Genaro Moreno Zamudio.
The memorial service for Jaime will be held Tuesday March 21, 2023, at the Getz funeral home located at 1410 E Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, NM 88011. Public viewing will begin at 10:00 am followed by prayer of the Rosary 11:00-11:30 am and the funeral Mass 11:30 am. Graveside interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery located at 100 S. Espina St. Las Cruces, NM 88011.
