Vicki Sue  Hooser (Hooser)
Vicki S. Hooser, 65, crossed over Saturday, January 21, 2023 at MountainView Regional Medical Center. She was born in March of 1957 in Alamogordo, NM. When she was younger, she played bass guitar and sang in a band made up of her family members. She also played softball on a team coached by her father.

She retired from Dona Ana County Detention Center as Interim Director. She loved to Ghost Hunt with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Travis Hooser (2020).

She is survived by her children: Preston Eldridge (Rhonda), Cody Eldridge, and Dana Nichols Herrera (Fernie). Her grand-children are Tatum and Jasmin Linares, Rhiannon Eldridge, Andrew Herrera, Taya Lucero (Travis), and Bowden Wilson. Great-grandchild Ryder Lucero.
She is also survived by her mother, Alexa Nell Sue Fambrough Hooser, brothers: Mike Hooser (Ann), Clinton Hooser (Karyn), and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life to honor her at a later date.

Her children entrusted their loved one to the care of Getz Funeral Home.
