Condolence From: Daphne Leavitt Sowers
Condolence: My most heartfelt sympathies to all of Suzi’s family. I was blessed to grow up with Suzi as one of my dearest friends.
She was always a ray of sunshine and one of the most positive people I have ever known. We were so close growing up and then life got in the way and we lost contact
for so many of these last years. That is a regret that I will
keep. I know, in my heart, that each member of her family
was blessed with her goodness and will draw on those memories for solace in the time to come.

Condolence: I am very sorry to hear of Suzi’s passing. I regret I did not reach out to her more often in retirement! Suzi was always a joy to work with over the years. We had the opportunity to work on several projects and committees together over the years and it was always a joy. Suzi had a great deal of common sense and would often listen for a good while before sharing very wise and sage input into a situation.
Suzi loved horses and was a champion for the regional horse show for many years. She was also very supportive of the shooting sports, environmental education and health projects where she provided a good deal of leadership.
I know the desire of her heart was to grow old with many grand and great-grandchildren around her, but that was not meant to be. I wish I had some wise words to bring comfort and encouragement for your family during this time, but I don’t. I just pray that the great memories and moments with Suzi never fade from your memories and hearts.
This song from Reba, an Oklahoma 4-H Alumnus reminds me of Suzi. I watched this video on YouTube and remembered Suzi, perhaps others will enjoy it too if this link works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlD31PpaZNw

Condolence: Terry & Family:
I'm very sorry to learn about Susan. It seems only yesterday that you and I were working with Jack in Water Quality at MSU Extension, and practicing music with the boys. Hope this message finds you well, and please give my best regards to the children. If you're ever in Starkville, drop by and say hello.
