The first time I went to Dell City with Ray and his family to see his parents, I thought this is Milagro. Their home was like an oasis. Several friends of Mr. Cadena would just drop in to say hi. He had that kind of character and friendliness that his buddies had to see him. I’m grateful to be a part of the Cadena family! It has been and forever will be one of my most cherished blessings! I love you my brother Ray for introducing me to your dad and all your family. May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen you in the days ahead. I know how much your dad meant to you and I’m grateful for all the years you had with him.

Dad, what a joy and an amazing "jefe" you have been to me all of my life. I will always treasure your memories but most of all the care that you had and gave to us. You were always a provider for the family and for that I will always be grateful. I will never forget that summer that I worked with you repairing water wells. I remember coming home after a ten to eleven hour day feeling like I had been run over by a truck because of the exhaustion I was feeling from that day. It got to the point where I wondered if I was going to make it through the next day. I did that for 3 months and just to think that you did it for all those years. To this day, I believe you are the strongest working man in the world. Thank you for all you did for me. I felt so much joy when Julie, Jaron and Regan were around and how you carried on with each one of them and how much love I felt you had for each one of them. I will always treasure that memory of all of us together. I love you so very much dad, jefe, and I will forever miss you the rest of my life here on earth. May Jesus wrap His loving arms around you and grant you all the rest that you deserve. From your loving son, el camote, as you called me, Ramon Jr.
