Condolence From: Frances Petter
Condolence: To all of John's family. Remember that you will not walk alone today. Accept my heartfelt sympathy. I had the privilege of attending school with John for 12 years. I remember him fondly and know you will miss him. May the peace of God be with you.

Condolence From: Rose Marie and Manolo Mercado
Condolence: With sad heart we say goodbye to John. He and Debbie enlivened our lives during the beginning of our courtship and continued as we all shared loads of laughter and John's fine cooking. In the many years we have lived away from the majestic mountains and desert, we often have reminisced the good ol'days in lively uproar amid the gracious hospitality of John and Debbie.

Condolence From: Larry Ermis
Condolence: "Condolences to all the Garrett families. I enjoyed having John as a classmate at Louise, Texas. Although I was not a football player in high school, I enjoyed watching him and his team from the bleachers as they competed on the field on Friday nights. John and I did have agriculture classes together. John and his dad were great supporters of the local FFA Chapter for many years. May God grant John eternal rest with the Lord, Jesus Christ."

Condolence From: Marilyn Tucker Hendrix
Condolence: It is with great sadness that I write this message of condolence to the family of John Garrett.
I did not have the privilege of having John, as a '64 graduate, as a classmate, me being a '63 graduate. At the same time, one must remember our school was like one big happy family. We often shared classes with upper or lower students and learned to think of them all as equals.
John was a very good friend always with a smile to share.
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of John at this time.
May God be with each and everyone of you as you go forward in life walking beside you every step of the way.
Praise be to God!

Sending my love,

Marilyn Tucker Hendrix (Ray)
