James M. Knox 82 years old, a resident of Las Cruces, NM died peacefully with his wife Sharon of 43 years by his side.
James was born to Tommie Lou and Albert Knox in Dime-Box, Texas on November 15, 1935. James joined the Navy at an early age he also later enlisted with the Marine Corps, where he did a tour in Korea.
James is survived by his wife Sharon L. Knox, Daughter Geri and Son Detrick along with 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. James was a man of many talents, he dabbled as a chef, baker and butcher enjoying all these trades immensely.
James is preceded in death by both his parents and brother Manuel Knox. A tribute to his life will take place on Monday June 11, 2018 with a viewing beginning at 9:00 am at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with service to begin at 10:00 am and burial to follow at Masonic Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
